Boston Business Journal Recognizes Rapid7 in its 2012 Pacesetters and Best Places to Work Honors

Significant Revenue Growth and Employee Satisfaction Out Paces Local-Area Companies

Boston, MA — May 4, 2013

Rapid7, the leading provider of security risk intelligence solutions, today announced its second consecutive year of recognition as one of the fastest-growing private companies on the Boston Business Journal's Pacesetters list, as a result of its staggering company growth over a 3-year period. The Company was also named by the publication as one of the “Best Places to Work” in Massachusetts for 2012, due to its outstanding employee benefits, company culture and high employee satisfaction.

The Boston Business Journal’s 2012 Pacesetters award recognizes the fastest-growing private companies in the region that have reported revenue growth of at least 10% annually from 2008-2011. Rapid7 placed 4th on the list, achieving status as an “Elite Pacesetter.” The Company has reported more than 250% revenue growth over this period and closed 2011 with the eleventh consecutive quarter of record-setting revenue. This award follows the Company’s recognition last year when it was named the fifth fastest-growing privately-held company and the fastest growing software company in the region, by the Boston Business Journal.

The Boston Business Journal also named Rapid7 one of the “Best Places to Work” in Massachusetts following an employee survey that cited the Company’s commitment to its culture, employee training, company growth and employee satisfaction. Rapid7 is currently hiring in all its locations, including Boston, Austin and Los Angeles. The Company has recently produced a series of videos to highlight its culture and the attributes valued across the team.

“We've focused heavily on ensuring that our commitment to employees does not wane as we experience significant company growth and momentum,” said Christina Luconi, chief people officer of Rapid7. “Being recognized by industry-leading publications and our employees helps us gauge that we are instilling the right type of culture and should continue with these practices. As we remain steadfast in our business strategy, we will continue to set the bar for Boston company growth and creating a place for great careers.”
