Rapid7 receives 2016 Tech Culture Award for dedication to core values, innovation, and scaling with soul

Boston, MA — August 23, 2016

Rapid7, Inc. (NASDAQ: RPD), a leading provider of security data and analytics solutions, announced today that TMCnet, the leading website in building communities online, in person and in print for communications and technology markets, has named the company a recipient of the first annual 2016 Tech Culture Awards. Rapid7 has quadrupled in size over the past three years and has focused on “scaling with soul” in order to stay true to its core values, maintaining itself as an agile, innovative organization.

Rapid7 “Moose,” as its people are referred to both individually and collectively, have created the company’s Moose Manifesto. Written completely by Rapid7 team members, the manifesto explains the Company’s mission, purpose, and unique qualities. The Moose Manifesto crystalizes the attributes that Rapid7 hires for and articulates the core values that drive and guide the company.
