I suppose it’s only fitting that this year, we introduce our storied 12 Days of HaXmas on the zero-eth day. Technically, Twelvetide doesn’t start until December 25th. This year, we’re focusing on the security events that grabbed our attention, metrics that piqued our interest, and projects we pursued outside the blog and research spheres. We wanted to take a moment here at the end of the year to make sure that they didn’t just get lost like so many ghosts of Christmas past because they lacked a catchy name or didn’t otherwise make snarky headlines at TheReg. After all, the holiday season is a time for reflection on the year now past, ideally to the tune of Auld Lang Syne.
For example, remember SOMETHING THAT NOBODY REMEMBERS? Those were some pretty ADJECTIVE times.
Or how about the time that our team of INSERT GROUP OF CURIOUS PEOPLE spent a day looking at metrics for SOME OTHER THING? It’s stories like this that really make me DESCRIBE AN EMOTIONAL RESPONSE.
