At Rapid7, we are committed to giving back to the community and making an impact together. Even though the work we do at Rapid7 keeps us busy day-to-day, we made sure to take the time to give back to the communities that have provided so much for us through our own annual community engagement initiative referred to as #rapid7givesback month. Through this initiative, our Moose not only dedicate time to serve their communities, but they form stronger relationships with one another and are truly able to impact together, one of the core values we live by at Rapid7.
From Boston to LA to Belfast to Singapore, we have seen more than 850 Moose volunteer 3,729 hours, complete 37 service projects, and make an impact in more than 13 different organizations throughout the globe. You may have seen our Moose painting in Galway at the Abalta Special School, stationary biking the distance from Reading to Syria to raise awareness to Syrian Refugees in Reading, UK, competing at the BUILD Entrepreneur Games in Boston, or hosting the Dragons Den event in Belfast. No matter where our Moose were this month, we made an impact on our communities together.
While October has been officially dubbed our #rapid7givesback month, we are continuing to drive this initiative through our internal #rapid7givesback page documenting our overall impact, volunteer hours, personal accounts of giving back, and links to local charities, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to get involved in each of our global office locations. We are constantly identifying new opportunities to get involved and sustaining this program by positioning it as an integral contributor to the Rapid7 mission. Here, we are one Moose that impact together!
