The Rapid7 Metasploit team is taking a page from DEF CON’s “SAFE MODE” operations this year, hosting our annual Open Source Security Meetup (OSSM) as a virtual event! For OSSM 2020, we’ll be doing a livestream via the Metasploit YouTube channel with talks covering things in the open source security space. We’ll also have an #ossm-2020 Slack channel over in the Metasploit Slack workspace where folks can interact (and ask questions!) before, during, and following the livestream. OSSM provides a fun (and low-stress) way of connecting with folks who are in the open source security space, as well as with folks who are interested in the open source security space. For updates on OSSM 2020, please follow the Metasploit Twitter account. Hope to see y’all there!
