In the Linux kernel before 6.1.6, a NULL pointer dereference bug in the traffic control subsystem allows an unprivileged user to trigger a denial of service (system crash) via a crafted traffic control configuration that is set up with "tc qdisc" and "tc class" commands. This affects qdisc_graft in net/sched/sch_api.c. A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in qdisc_graft in net/sched/sch_api.c in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a local unprivileged user to trigger a denial of service if the alloc_workqueue function return is not validated in time of failure, resulting in a system crash or leaked internal kernel information.
With Rapid7 live dashboards, I have a clear view of all the assets on my network, which ones can be exploited, and what I need to do in order to reduce the risk in my environment in real-time. No other tool gives us that kind of value and insight.
