How to Run a Quick Penetration Test in Metasploit Pro

In this week’s Feature Friday. Amber Lee, Senior Customer Success Support Engineer at Rapid7, will show you how easy it is to run a quick penetration test in Metasploit Pro.

To get started you simply open up the quick pen test wizard in Metasploit Pro and select the range of IPs that you would like to test. From there you are able to choose the types of devices that you would like to run your test against. You can choose to run a pen test across all devices, windows devices, linux devices, within that range. Next, you have the ability to choose the exploits that you want to run against these devices. Finally, you simply choose the type of report that you want created at the end of the report. Metasploit Pro comes with a lot of great reporting options right out of the box.
